In other words… we had some fail dere.
First… you #$%s were all at the bar and I was lucky enough to have a friend of mine drop in to help out. Crimany was there, and we all had a great time without you, discussing the Renaissance of the Internet, Vaginal Appendectomys, and all sorts of groovy stuff.
Second… interestingly enough most likely due to some error on my part I forgot to turn the recording machine on. (Though I remember doing it) So I suppose it was not meant to be last night. No worries… every show needs a lost episode. I’ll be looking for people tonight or tomorrow night to join in for a do-over. Since it was lost in the sands of time, I’ll announce here last nights show resulted in the creation of a new subreddit (perhaps the first subreddit creation to happen on a recorded show). It is a response to this post. – instead of voting for a dick of the year, now you all can vote for a dick of the month. At the end of the year, each months winner (person, place or thing) will be voted on and a winner (failure?) for the year will be announced.
I contacted kn0thing to see if the results for the best-of-reddit 2008 were available. If so, we might end up doing an awards type show, if not this week, then whenever they are released for sure. Thanks to wearethemusicmakers for their great response. Now I’ve got a ton of new music to listen too, some of which will end up the show. (end the show, not end up in the show)

Ill be up front with all of you and say I am not satisfyed with the level of quality in the recording. Aside from that it was a huge steaming pile of epicness. Good Job Kory, Null, and Don.
Again to start with I am using dodgy free file hosting. But for the time being this show has a budget of $0.00 and I suppose that keeps it real and dirtroots. Fine by me. I went with a different service this week, but I’m sure they will only keep the file for a day or so. So please if you can sumbit it to vuze, or mirror it on your site, and let me know so I can make a link in the blog.
We’re still looking for submissions for music. This weeks into was made by Peel Nerd. And the closing music came from Reddit.
That’s it for now, just wanted to get the show online. Again we should have it on torrent, and physical hosting in a day or so.

Ok, so everyone be ready tomorrow Jan 7. We’ll post the call in numbers in the #reddit channel on Freenode before the show which will begin sometime between 8-9:30 eastern. I finally discovered the source of the hum, and it should no longer be an issue. One person has proffered a musical selection for the show. Other that that bit of news, everything should be good to go. There is no set topic or theme, just discussion of news and internet culture.
